Brief Description: Cleco cleaning and fuel access panel drilling
I had not got a chance to clean the sealant off the cleco's after Saturday's sealing session so I took care of that today. (They were left soaking in MEK) I then trimmed a little more off one tank skin stiffener for extra clearance with the fuel quantity capacitance plate. Lastly Van's shipment arrived with the fuel tank access panel that should have been sent initially. You can see in image 1 the two fuel tank access panels. The near one in the image has extra holes where the float fuel quantity sender is attached. The one for capacitance systems has no such extra holes. I did however have to drill the new panel for the fuel pickup tube fitting and anti rotation bracket for the fitting.
